- The source of divine life -

XXII - 1 "also showed me the river Water of Life .. . "

internal vitality of the Divine Being, who is his own holiness, flows the river of divine waters. This is a pure waters, clear, abundant, which is always reflected the brilliance of divinity communicating.

XII -2 "In the middle of the square ... there the Tree of Life .. . "

Tree is the figure of Jesus Christ and his redeeming Cross

"giving twelve fruits, each month brings his"

For the fruits of the sacraments are meant

"and leaves of the tree are useful for health of the people "

The leaves symbolize the graces granted to the Gentiles that know not true Church, not by rebellion against God, so were the object of his mercy and be saved.

XXII - 4 and 5 "... and not only see his face, but his name in the very front ... "

The sky will look to God in facial view, watching as it is. Also present at the introspectively-own "I" - for wearing his name on the front (by Baptism we were made in living temples of the Holy Trinity ). A third way is a communion of saints, that is, staring at each other.

XXII -5 "And there will be no more night: no need light of a lamp or sunlight ...

XXII -6 "These words are faithful and true"

The angel shows John heavenly Jerusalem, gives finally the testimony, that Revelation is received and correctly interpreted confidently.

"And the Lord God, who inspired the prophets, sent his angel to (1) show his servants what must soon take place."

states the angel, as an emissary of the Lord, the reason for his message, saying that the same God who has sent his prophets, he also sent him to what is said in the text above. (1)

XXII - 8 and 9 "I, I am John "

witnessing Juan is identified who has heard and seen all the things explained in Revelation. Therefore are not his own invention, or collection of passages taken from various the Bible. At the beginning claims that he entrusted a mission, so have complied attests.

"... I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel ... but I said, try not to do: I am a fellow servant ... Worship God."

The Angel, by its beauty and majesty shine out maintains direct communication with God, that deceive not going to worship him as God is necessary skylight.

XXII - 10 "And I said: Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book. .. "

The Apocalypse is open, is a door that no one can shut.

XXII - 13 "I am the Alpha and the Omega , the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."

Like we saw as it did in the cap. I-8, Jesus Christ returns to identify here.

XXII - 14 "Blessed are those who wash their clothes, to qualify for the Tree of Life "

7 th Beatitude of Revelation, eminently penitential. Sincerely looking our consciousness makes us need a radical inner purification, only the pure can enter the New Jerusalem, and this coincides with what is stated in the Sermon on the Mount . (Mt 5.3)

"and to enter through the gates into the City "

XXII- 16 "I am Root and the Offspring of David"

We see that in verse 13 Jesus is identified as God, and here as a man.

XXII - 17 "The Spirit and the Bride say: Come !..."

Like love follows knowledge, the Holy Spirit own appeal inspires the Parousia : Come!.

"And who is thirsty, let him come ..."

Divine invitation, felt in their true inner strength and joy for one who has this distressing need. (see John 4, 7-14).

XXII - 18 "If anyone adds anything ... And if anyone removes some of the words of this prophetic book, God will take his part in the Tree Life and the Holy City described in this book. "

By divine mandate must be respected virginity Revelation , For not doing so has been marred at times, causing the resulting serious errors of interpretation.

XXII - 20 "... Yes, I come quickly. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. "

Jesus is the Amen of the Father and the Church , the Amen of Jesus.

XXII - 21 "The grace of our Lord Jesus be with everyone. Amen. "

This Amen becomes the assent of the Church as Bride .

Revelation is a book that has been much discussed and little understood, hence, the unfortunate negative opinion about him and the errors that sometimes has its misinterpretation. Having felt the need to help restore their true dimension * and final book of the Bible , which lights up the entire Genesis, we performed this work of 14 chapters trying to facilitate reading and understanding.

(*) Do not forget that is the gospel that Jesus Christ has risen and glorious humanity.
